ghetto bird

this low-flying aircraft is none other than Eagle One, Fresno County Sheriff Department's helicopter. It was flying low in the neighborhood with its spot light on. Then it preceded to light up my backyard! Oh crap! Apparently they couldn't find anybody and flew off after covering other areas of the neighborhood. Darn, last time there was this much excitement in the neighborhood was when my Blazer got broken into. I hand held this photo at F4.0 and "bulb" at ISO 1600 so i could get enough light to pick up the spot light and light trail.

Vans Tahoe Cup 2008

Vans Tahoe Cup was ups and downs this year. First, I was going to go then I wasn't going to go. Then I did go and took photos and then one of my CF cards went bad. Good news is I was able to recover them. Good thing too, cuz now I have some decent photos.

Photographing kidz

Photographing kids can be crazy. Setting up the shot, getting the kids to stay still while composing the shot, "look at the camera", "smile", laugh, etc. The list goes on. If I get one shot out of a 50 I would be happy. On this little impromptu session, with light fleeting, I got this shot early on. Who would of thought picking your nose would look this good.
